Creatine and Mental Function
Here is an interesting article on the use of creatine for mental function. Creatine supplementation has long been evaluated for its use pertaining to muscle energy, endurance and growth. Recently questions have been asked about its use with mental function. Although the brain only uses roughly 5% of the creatine stored in the body, studies have shown that adding creatine supplementation can increase depleted levels to enhance the energy level needed for brain function.
As with any supplementation, every person has a different situation with his/her health. Before starting any supplementation contact your healthcare provider.
